![]() ![]() i only checked locations for bear fights. There just isn't enough resources to make exploring beneficial. This meat is very important because you don't want to dig into your jerky stash unless you absolutely have to. Wait until the fight is over and collect the spoils. Sometimes you'll arrive at a location and hear an angry bear. With the replacement of wilderness locations everywhere, the chance of a bear and wolf fight is very high. I did and can get you downriver pretty fast, however its a high risk high reward thing because if your raft takes too much damage and you take that final 10% hit, it's all over. If you are confident in your rafting skills, utilize this speedway. Luckily by 175 they gave me my marina so I could repair my raft. I got down to 20% raft health around 165 miles because I was getting a little careless and I almost suffered for it. If you don't take care of your raft, you'll die. I only ever saw one per cycle and i'm not even sure if that's a guarantee. However, marinas are now incredibly rare. The game seems to start cycling the same regions over and over again. I will try to outline very key points to making it to 200: It's almost not worth it to explore locations very hard anymore. This is more or less where it starts getting insane.Īll regions are now completely over run with wilderness locations with the exception of maybe 1 location per region that is not wilderness.įood and Supplies are now very VERY scarce on each location. My inventory looked a little something close to this by mile 100: ![]() ![]() I personally had plenty of cooked meat spoil on me because I just had too much I didn't know what to do with it. If you've been looting every location to the best of your ability, you shouldn't have any problems living off of the meat you've accumulated from wolf, rabbit, and boar kills. I've seen plenty of salt's come out of those from my personal experience. Occasionally light blue illuminated islands will show up while rafting and you can press A on them to be granted with a random piece of loot. Salt can be found randomly in different locations (I have better luck in shop areas), and also on the river while rafting. Jerky never spoils, and you're going to need plenty of salt. A jerky stockpile is absolutely vital for miles 100-200. Once your raft is fully upgraded you'll have an insanely easy time for the remainder of the first 100 miles. I cannot stress enough on the fact to loot EVERYWHERE. You never want to get in the stupid situation of figuring out what item is most important to not leave behind. That's usually the first thing i'll try to do when I start any playthrough. You'll want to eventually craft a full set of bear hide gear, a fully upgraded raft, all 4 tools, and a stockpile of max stacked materials in your inventory and raft inventory.Ĭreate 4 pouches to expand Scout's inventory to the max as soon as you can. It's all about preparation for the first 100 miles. the difference after the 100 mile mark is completely different than the first 100 miles of endless mode. I'm not going to bother making a guide for the 100 mile achievement because that one pales in comparison to this one. To obtain this achievement you'll need to survive 200 miles in the one playthrough of endless mode. ![]()
